All of them are the best, just for different play styles. What do you want from your gun?

I want a one which can take down targets quickly at medium to close range

GD-7F is a beast in close range and decent at medium range if you can control it. Stick a laser on it and go nuts.

Any list of good carbines would be remiss without the Mercenary and ACX-11. Not perfect for CQB, but both are 3headshot kills so they're great with the new jumpjet buff.

GD-7F or AF-4 Cyclone. The cyclone has a shorter range but up close it works well.

If you're going to be using it up close, the Cyclone is king.

Personally I recommend the Guass Compact S due to it's high flexibilty through attachements while only losing 33rpm, though alternatively you can use the GD-7F. it's also a good choice but you'll be working through an ungoldy reload time in exchange for TR class firerate. (Using the Underbarrel shotgun attachment on the Gauss Compact S will make you the terror of nearly any biolab.)

I'm saddened no one mentioned the rocklet rifle. Jokingly of course. :-)

i want close-medium range bro and shotguns suck at medium range

Either pump action shotgun with a Blackhand secondary seems to fill the gap for all ranges for me, if you can aim that is.

well you can always use slugs for more range on your shotgun ^^

anyway, for midrange i would say use the ns11c, but it sucks at close range against any weapon firing faster than it...

get a bandit or gd7f,
bandit for controlled hipfire up to mid range or gd7f for desintegrating enemies at close range

Honestly, there is no reason to use a NS11 as NC unless you need it for directive or because you are an aurax competionist.

Most NC guns are great at mid range, accurate, deadly and keeping CQC competitiveness. NS11 is a good gun, but NC carbines are just better in the role NS11 covers.
