Mining help!
Where should I go to mine, and how do I mine?

You use the ANT (Vichele terminals) to got crystals (Black and orange-ish) and collect and harvest.

BTW I jut remembered the crystals are called "Cortium" and you refine them using a HIVE. but it has to be powered by a cortium silo. Every time you refine cortium it generates a victory point. Generate enough points and your faction will lock/own the continent. Hives will only become active if it has a core. which can be stolen by destroying enemy HIVES. So make sure you have a good base that is well defended.

They are a structure in the construction system. They can be obtained from an ANT's terminal like all other structures.

I dont really get into the construction in game, but I seem to remember outfitting my ANT with a radar that made finding crystals easier. And yesterday i was roadkilled by an ANT that had a cloak, didnt even know they could do that.

ANT after get cortium from the mineral i call it or they call it crystal? You must finding a base which it doesnt have a red colour places in your map.And deploy it (B) to buy all stuff stucture but make sure you build an silo before other thing.And sure put the cortium of u ant to the silo.Then buy all stuff from the silo.Thats the better way.
