What happens when all continents get locked?
So, i played my least played character (NC), and the Terran Republic had Esamir and Amerish, and NC had Indar. I am concerned as my main character is on the same server on VS.

They cant lock. If 3 continents are locked,then when doing 4th,another one will unlock already by the time 4th is captured

i was already scared that the servers would shut down

Well it all depends on how many people play online on that server. If there are not many enough there is no need to open all continents.I think devs have statistics. But at night time , or when i play very late i see 2 continents opened. So its all good.

There can only be 3 locked continents, whenever another one gets locked the first one to get locked gets unlocked.

Also, if there's enough pop a second continent gets automatically unlocked

What happens? Preety much nothing worth even looking into since it will soon blow over your mind once you know about it.
