Game won't launch
I've done the usual, reinstall, turn off anti-virus programs, etc. Still doesn't work, any suggestions?

::EDIT::

Still not launching. Driver's are up to date and I don't recieve any Error Codes. No G9 Errors, nothing. How do I get ahold of Tech Support?

Do you get any error messages, is the launcher opening then suddenly closing? I assume the game and your pc is fully updated.

So I got no error codes, it just shuts down the launcher. SiLNOR3KI is some other user. I can't get Planetside 2 to work at all STILL.

So apparently if you are playing on Windows 7 Planetside just doesn't work. Nice work Daybreak.

Could always try out a program called "Dependency Walker". I've seen an old post about it somewhere before, and a friend of mine had a problem launching the game that he was able to fix by using it. Basically, there were some old 32-bit directX files on his computer, which was preventing the game from starting. Replacing those with the proper 64-bit files fixed it right up.

May or may not be the solution for you, but it's worth a shot. The program looks at an EXE and sees what files are used to run it, such as ".DLL" files. Most can be ignored, but if you see directX files in the red, then that's definitely the problem.

If you're curious, I'd suggest googling "planetside 2 dependency walker", and you'll likely come across the old topics about it.

I'm just incredibly disappointed that I have to troubleshoot this game just to launch it...on top of that I don't even get an Error Code, which makes troubleshooting even harder.

What happened in the last 2 years that made this game so hard to launch I wonder?

But I BOUGHT Stellaris instead of playing this game so...I guess I'll go spent my time there since I can't get Planetside 2 to work. BTW, Planetside 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. Right up there with Warthunder, the Total War Series, Halo/Halo 2 and the Zelda Series.

Validate the game files manually.

By clicking the wrench icon in PLANETSIDE'S LAUNCHER » Validate game assets.
