Also what kind of message do you get after trying to login ? , It might be a internet connectivity problem . Giving planetside2.exe and launchpad.exe an exception in firewall might be a good idea too.
Ps : The community is mostly on the official reddit forums , You would have probably got a faster response and better solutions there and the devs are there too . https://www.reddit.com/r/Planetside/
You might have to contact Planetside 2 support to sort out the issue , and also Ask on reddit , someone might know the solution . I have not much experience in this matter :\
If there is a definitve answer, i certainly can't find it most google results are about massive outages to the login servers, which is all on their end.
Daybreaks own help page says you need to contact account support,.. which ... honestly is funny, because you need to login for that. I am sure you can tell the issue with that.
You can try writing an email to support@daybreakgames.com
Explain your issue in as much detail as you possibly can, and make sure to start off with "i can't make an account" or something like that. Maybe even put it as subject. You'll be sending an email from outside their Ticket System.
I contacted them, last month, via the ticket system and it took them a week to reply. Not happy about that with the Agent plastering me with standard messages without even reading my first email properly. Not saying to discourage using the account, i had some obscure non critical issue, not an account thing (they usually got back to me, the few times i needed them about account things, within 48 hours.. generally i used to have good experiences with their Support... but not everyone has and i also just had my first bad one... so... take that for what you will).
If i were to troubleshoot it, for myself.. i'd start with trying a different, clean browser. Something that potentially doesn't have any extensions or Adblock or whatever on it. See if i can get in that way. If i can, then i'd continue from there with a malware scan and all the other jazz.
If you find a solution, maybe report back? Sorry, can't be of more help with this.
Just keep an eye on their Twitter page for an update. I think its happening across other DB games too, like DC universe etc.
Of course, once I get through that step, I still can't connect to the game.
