• Later, after saving my pocket money for a long time, I finally bought a second-hand NES. That night, I beat "Contra." The moment the credits rolled, I sat on the floor, dazed, with only one thought in my mind: "I want to make games."

• I wanted to create a world that makes people forget the time, forget to eat, and just want to keep playing forever.

• That thought has been buried in my heart for over twenty years.

• Later, I actually entered the gaming industry.

• I thought I would be creating worlds. But I discovered that this industry didn't want the worlds I created; it wanted to know how many "first-time purchase" bonuses, "cumulative recharge" events, "daily login" streaks, and "limited-time offers" I could design.

• I thought I was making games. But what I was actually building was a sophisticated commercial system: using stats to gate player progress, using events to trigger player anxiety, and using all sorts of "tricks" to keep players reaching for their wallets.

• I wasn't creating worlds; I was manufacturing anxiety.

• One late night, while working overtime at the office, I had just finished designing a "7-Day Goal" event—the kind of system where you miss out on massive rewards if you don't log in every single day. Looking at the spreadsheet on my screen, I suddenly asked myself a question:

  "Is this what you wanted when you were standing at the arcade entrance all those years ago?"

• The answer was no.

• I didn't sleep that night. I started thinking about that boy—the one standing at the door watching others play, with stars in his eyes. If he could see me now, what would he say?

• He would be disappointed, wouldn't he?

• After spending over a decade in the industry, I’ve worked on many projects. Some succeeded, some failed. But regardless of the outcome, there was always a void in my heart.

• Until one day, my partner—a friend who had also spent years grinding in the industry—and I were sitting at a roadside stall having a late-night snack. We’d had a bit to drink and started talking about an "impractical" idea:

• What would it look like if we ignored all commercial metrics and just made a game we truly wanted to play?

• This isn't marketing fluff. This is the blueprint I drew in my heart twenty years ago, standing at the entrance of that arcade.

• To realize this vision, traditional game design just isn't enough. We need to make the world truly "come alive."

• Over the past few years, we’ve poured all our energy into the research and development of AI technology:

• - Intelligent NPC System: These aren't puppets reciting lines, but partners who can understand, remember, and grow. They will remember what you’ve said, change their attitude toward you based on your choices, and have their own emotions and secrets.

• - Dynamic World: The world changes because of your choices. An NPC you save today might become a key character later, and an enemy you spare might return one day for revenge.

• - Personalized Narrative: Even with the same main quest, different players will experience completely unique stories.

• - Natural Language Interaction: Real conversations, not just picking from a few pre-set options.

• We will continue to share our technical explorations with the community. Because we believe that technology shouldn't be kept hidden—it should ultimately serve the players.

• Writing this, I feel the need to be honest.

• We are broke.

• Not the "tight on cash" kind of broke, but the "invested every penny of our savings and don't know how we'll pay for next month" kind of broke. We have no funding, no investors, and no wealthy family background. Every cent has come from our own pockets, saved through sacrifice.

• Every time a server bill hits, our hearts ache. Every time we see people around us buying houses and cars, we ask ourselves: Is it worth it?

• But every time we open the project, see "Sakura Dream Sea" (Ying Meng Hai) slowly taking shape, and witness those moments where the NPCs truly "come alive," we know: It is worth it!

• This is our answer to that boy we once were. For the first time in twenty years, we are finally doing what we truly want to do.
