laggy, screentearing

I would love to play this game but it is lagging at 120fps and really hard to look at
is there a patch?

There's an option for VSync. That'll take care of your screen tearing. I disabled it because I play on a TV and get noticeable input lag when using VSync, but I've just run through the first level 4 times and didn't notice any screen tearing or performance issues.
