Had a great time with the demo hope the full game will be better than the demo

I don't speak an ounce of Japanese, I just pressed A (on steam deck) throughout the starting dialogue and got through it. I just had to look out for buttons in the tutorial. The combat is very fluid and the mechanics are intuitive. The dodge is really smooth and effective, love it. The retrace feature is the only one that was a little difficult to figure out (just hold RB instead of RT). So far, it's a fun game with a lot of potential. I don't know about saving though......

Top Down means games like Rimworld & Dwarf Fortress. Isometric is a 45°, 120° angle from slight above, about 30° & that's exactly what Retrace The Light is featuring. how far away the camera is from the ground is of no consequence to the geometry of the view....
