I just completed the first scene but had not bought the star items on the side. Is there a way to go back and buy those items (ghosts and such)?

-The Star Striker achievement I'm not sure if it works. There are 25 puzzle levels and each one gives you 4 stars as far as I know, but the achievement won't pop even though I've finished all the puzzle levels. I have also finished nearly all the race M3 levels, which give you a star or maybe 2 in some cases, so should have had plenty of stars to qualify. -4 or more stars needed to buy any optional scene parts? I have the game at another site too, and don't remember having so much trouble with being ab...

It's not entirely clear to me how you are supposed to get this. While I haven't done the exact math, I'm thinking a single playthrough is not going to be enough, what with the chest constantly filling up. But I've both restarted and replayed as well as used different profiles, and I'm pretty sure my combined pieces should add up. And I can't figure out any other way to keep earning pieces, since you can't spend any after the castles are completed. Anyone got any advice about this?...

I think after each scene is complete, the game takes all of the extra pieces and stars and turns them into gold. Doing so, I had no more stars at the end of the game to complete the scenes! There is no extra bonus map, so I cannot get some extra stars that way. Is there a way to get extra stars to complete the scenes? It doesn't seem like I should be punished for working ahead on the puzzle/star levels....
