99% endgame content locked behind subscription

Game is pay2play, free you get bare minimum. You have to buy subscription every month to access all game features, but NOT content. For content in addition to subscription they have Expasion Packs which you have buy too. And to be able to access you must be premiun as well. Premium ended? Too bad buddy, you can no longer access your expansion packs.

TL;DR pure locked down pay to play garbage, dont bother.

If you want game for PvP, then its completly free. You can do all you can for free, all content open. But then comes the problem, i said content and i started to laugh

In my humble opinion worth every penny, i have been subscribing since release= 4 years+. Still love the game, and its one of the most open f2p games, you have acces to almost everything exept t2+raids and the 2 expancion packs that you have to buy.( rise of the godslayer and the coast of turan pack) in with the turan pack is a 1 time payment, and you have it as free to play to. The 2 other packs (house of crom and dragonspine, is only included if you buy acces passes or are a premium player...theese 2 packs was ment as a reward to premium players, so its only fair i think.
And dont listen to mutch to wining veterans saying pvp is ♥♥♥♥♥, its not. even if you start with a dissadvantage gear and skills wise its some of the best pvp games around. And everyone start as a new player in most pvp games that have progression so whats new?

If you have some friends that want to try it out i highly recomend it, its a wery social game, and the groups and raids are awesome.

FALSE. The Savage Coast of Turan is a paid content, it has to be purchased via the in-game store (it comes in 3 different offers). It is not a matter of being a f2p or a premium user....you HAVE TO BUY the Savage Coast of Turan in order to play its contents. The only difference between a f2p and a premium user is that, as a premium, you will get a small discount on the price. Well I'm sorry, but the Turan pack is not "f2p friendly", because even if you pay for it, you still do not have access to the AA perks, you still do not have access to the T2 and T3 raids and I doubt a f2p in a T1 set, with no AA perks and no Khitan gear would do a T3.5 raid. Tha't a nonsense.

The truth about this game is that it can be fully played as a f2p up to lvl 80 (assuming you do not do any pvp, because a f2p doesn't stand a chance against a premium, due to the lack of AA perks and Khitan gears) and this can be fine for you and for me, but the fact is: the end game cannot be played as a f2p. Come on, you cannot even complete the T1 sweep.

I have never said it's a premium only content, but the fact that the Turan Adventure Pack can actually be played with a f2p account (if purchased) has nothing to do with the fact that it is neither free nor f2p friendly, for the above mentioned reasons.

An what company in their right minds would make free end game content? Who would make any money and keep a game alive that way, without implementing a totaly different way of doing it, like pay to win system. The free to play side of conan ofc is ment to inspire players to become premium or buy acces passes to the later content in the game, but.. the fact is you can have a whole lott of fun in conan witouth paying, and there is a wery big part of the game you can explore as free to play. If you want every aspect of the game free find another game. Its a 18+ game, most ppl ower 18 have the ridiculusly smal amount of money it cost to play this game. And if you cant afford it for a month ( i have had to prioritice other things a few months) Its still great fun to play the old world content a bit, i still have great fun doing that when i have had to.

My advice to interested gamers, try it yourself, its enaugh free to play content to play if for months for free and make up your own mind abouth the game.

i played on ftp for 110 hours there is so much to do : )
i treated myself to a 1 year sub for £65 money well spent as i love this game and enjoy playing it.
you can have loads of fun with ftp but seriously, nothing in this world is free ! if you enjoy something its only fair to put something back into the game for the hard work time and effort, hence my 1 year sub, i feel happy in the fact that i have helped keep the game going.

if you want a terrible f2p model look for warhammer.
and i like subscription modells since f2p ruined lord of the rings for me. this game had great atmosphere but since f2p its buy here, pay there. no nice fantasy atmosphere anymore.

Companies like f2p as they can make more per month from someone who isn't subscribed but pays x amount on potions etc in the cash shop than they do the guy who just pays a monthly sub.

Sure there are those who are subbed and use cash shop but generally they have less incentive to do so. Then ofcourse there are those who play and never buy a thing, bit of a double edged sword.
