New Free Demo Out for VN Festival!

A major update to the free demo is now out for the Steam VN Festival. The artist and I are both really excited to showcase what we've been working on since the last public release.

The first thing you'll notice is the improved artwork. New scenes have been added, and other scenes have been redrawn. The animated sex scenes have been completely overhauled in the game, and for the new demo we went back into the prologue to update some of the early artwork that no longer fit. The intro sex scene is now full animated with 6 different camera angles. The accompanying writing has also been improved. Lucine's first sex scene has also been completely replaced, and again with multiple camera angles as the scene progresses. More improvements will be coming as we progress.

The next thing you'll notice are the changes and additions to the main story. Remi's role in the main plot has been expanded on, and the end of the prologue is now much clearer and flows better. Dialogue and narration have been improved throughout the story, and new game systems have been added.

In day 1 you'll see an early version of the new overhauled choice system, something that will be expanded on soon. Choices now feel more impactful, and now characters track their overall opinions of the player character through a more nuanced points system. The romance routes now center around identifying a character's fundamental wants and needs as you move forward in the story, and making choices that form their opinion of you.

Overall there's still a ton of work do do but this is a massive upgrade. More polish and refinement will be coming out soon, so stay tuned. Check out our Discord[discord.gg] for the most up to date progress.

Raisa Path Achievement doesn't work for Demo

While all other path achievements are working, Raisa's doesn't. Also collected 5 of the effigies but still it shows as 4/5. Please fix the demo achievements...

Beta 0.15 Build Completed

This was originally posted 1/30/2024 - I'm bringing all of last year's devlogs here to Steam this month to get everything up to date across all of our platforms.

Version 0.15 which is our first update focusing on the romance paths is in the hands of play testers. The script is now up to 24,741 words with a good chunk of new gameplay added to Eryn's romance path. This time around we really tried to work on building the relationship between the MC and Eryn by touching up the dialogue in their earlier scenes, as well as giving them their first animated h-scene in the second act. We also touched up some of the early game art that didn't quite look like the characters following the sprite revision way back in version 0.10 beta and playable demo. The new art came out great, it looks way better in general and has a lot more expression in the face animations.

0.15 Changelog:

- Implemented some early game rewritten sections with the new writing style
- Removed several boring and unnecessary liminal sequences from the story
- Fixed 1 major bug (missing choice tracking variable in act 1)

Beta 0.14 Build Completed

Version 0.14 is now completed and is in play testing. The script is up to 22,153 words with an additional 5-10 mins of main story. This update has a lot of complex artwork packed into some quick scenes and we're both really happy with how everything came out. We also experimented with some new tricks for animations, but rotating the wheel on the lift turned out to be way harder than we thought. The sound effects were also pretty fun to make this time around. Next update will start building out Eryn's romance route. Let us know if you find any bugs.

Effigy Hunter and Effigy Master not unlocking

Played through the demo and unlocked all achievements except for these. In the ending screen it shows 5 of 5 for Effigy and I think I did find all 5. However, these 2 achievements are the only ones that didn't unlock. One more issue, I got the achievement for completing all paths before I completed Lena's path. I did do all the other paths, prior. The Lena path achievement did unlock without issue....
