How many worms per team?

How many worms can a team have? 4 or 8? If we play with 3 people online how many can each of us have?

I've grown up with Worms, Worms 2...then played World Party for years. Reloaded is nice but the only downside for me is that you can only have 4 worms per team. I also bought Revolution and Clan Wars (for full price...ouch!)...but they are too modern for my taste and overloaded with mechanics I don't like.

8 worms per team and up to 6 teams.
so if its just two players you could have 3 teams each (i do this sometimes with a friend) so its 24vs24 :p

Armageddon is World Party, but patched to hell with all sorts of extra features. Sadly, WP never really took off because the community was all in Armageddon.

The worm limit is actually one of the things that had been increased in WA compared to WWP via the grace of updates. I think WWP capped it at a total of 18 per map, while a WA update a long time ago simply removed the limit and let you have 6 full teams of 8 worms.

Another question: a friend of mine says he very likely still has the old CD version. Is there a patch to get all latest updates the Steam version has? Where can I download the patch?

Thanks, I bought the game. Is there a zoom option? Or should I just select a lower version than 1920x1080 so the worms are bigger? Should I leave the direct3d as it is or set it to directx9?

yea lower the resolution if you want the camera to be closer. however 1080p seems to be fine IMO, otherwise you cant see very far :p
