My experience for infusing rune stones
I'm using the Eldritch Blade, its basic stats is 65/130/100/110 and reach to 181/277/278/293 after infusing and reforging (maybe not the maximum cuz I don't find all rune stones I guess).

For 5 slots weapon, It cost 15 rune stones in total to make a Grand Rune stone(GR), 10 for maxing out a weapon and 5 more for reforging, let's call this a 'round' here; each stone has 2 effects we can call PE(positive effect)/ NE(negative effect).

The value of the GR depends on the total 15 stones you put in the weapon, and you will gain a GR with 40% PE and 5% NE value of the sum value of the 15 stones, no matter the combination, and the NE is tiny, if you mix different kinds of stones, some values will cancel each other out, so just put only one PE kind of stone in one round, and always choose advanced stone first, this will maximize the value of a GR, and after you gain all 4 GR(4 cosm stones in one playthrough), you infuse them and one boosting stones in a maxed out weapon, then a weapon with super power is created, with a maxed out blessing skill of stamina, you will find that you almost have unlimited stamina, then go kill.

I don't really understand or like the system at all.

I think i already wasted two super runes, or whatever you wanna call them by upgrading and reforging?

I thought you get a better tier weapon everytime you reforge but that does not seem to be the case. You wanna accumulate super runes or not?

Also while i understand what damage, speed, agility and impact does, it's still confusing.

Why does a two handed hammer has better speed and agility than a one handed axe? Also my hammer with one star has a damage of 101 and my 3 star axe has 82. But the axe does more damage?!

I really don't get it.

You are converting the stats of infused runes into 1 rune at reduced value.

All it does is giving you a better rune for same space, but you lose some total value in the process.

On your first run of the game it's generally better to keep your 4 converted runes as you will have more stats in total than combining them.

Yea, I thought as much.

Well the green axe is doing fine rn. Changed to it yesterday. I hope i can find some more attack power runes to forge a second mega rune. I already saw another green stone, you need for that in the 4th area.

I just hope this will be enough to pull thru the game.

There is no chance i start over. If it get's too tedious because of i'm lacking attack power, that's the end for me.

If you get in trouble there are a few 5 socket weapons found in Irelia, even if you mess up stones you can probably use what you have with 20% buff runes to make it decent enough

I'm using the eldritch blade rn, with 5 sockets. Two big runes and 3 regular runes.

It's fine for now. I'm currently in the "stomach" area, or whatever it's called after going into that big open mouth :D

EDIT: just beat the Queen and while the damage was not amazing it was doable.
