Yea I found that place very strange too, it does not get any less crowded later either.

Way too many enemies, even if you parry like crazy, still takes forever. I just run past most of them.

6 dudes at the palace lol.

I mean I kinda like the challenge, it’s questionable design though.

The 6 fighters at the palace made me go "WHA?" then the boss made me chuckle. Best boss intro ever.

Wait until the last area and then we can talk about bad game design, small arenas with too many "big" enemies.

The boss intro was hilarious, I'll give the game that
Those freaking robots are annoying as hell, poise is too high, grab attack and hard to read moveset.

Hey! Thank you for the feedback and for playing Morbid: The Lords of Ire! We've heard from quite a few players that Cinder Valley was quite challenging with enemy placement being too high, and we will look to balance this in an upcoming patch :)
Nah thats the spirit, let us suffer, if i could get through that the other soulsplayers will too, dying a lot is a great teacher.

Here is a thing though

How many people do you think skipped 60% of the enemies in that area? Did you kill even half of them? I would guess probably not. Probably because it took too long, not because you could not do it.

So the end result is that people are running past everything with 8 hitboxes tailing behind them, and it's not the strategic combat game they were describing.

I killed everything, i struggled a bit with that freaking annoying bot, the tough one, but after awhile you get the hang of his moveset and when to parry his as-s, like any souls game. The one i couldnt parry is the cannon bastard, that one is easy to dodge though. You just pull with the pistol, fire one shot on one and let him come to you, try not to agro the rest.
Most of them were those one pistol shot one hit kill bots, at least on that stretch before the big gate with the elevator.

Did you record your first run killing every enemy in Cinder? Unless you did, I don't believe it for a second.

If I went out of my way to kill every enemy in this game it would take 3 times longer than it did. And I am yet to see one person that isn't around the 8-11 hour mark, for which you would have to skip the crap out of most enemies unless you doing a speedrun I guess.

It's not just me, several people said the same thing

I dont speed run, i explore everything, although i did have to come back and redo some areas to find what i was missing on the codex, still missing a fist weapon damn it, i need a wiki for that, seached high and low and nothing hehehe.
But yeah, i killed everything, of course not in one go, resting between shrines, dying a few times, upgrading my weapon a little bit, so normal soul stuff.
Take that brute bastard you fight early in cinder, the one with the big hand that grabs you, he can be parried, and that makes the fight a lot faster, i just didnt know it at first and he proceed to kick my as-s a few times.

What "normal" souls stuff. Which of these games had an area dense like that?

Demon's Souls?
Dark Souls?
2?
Bloodborne?
3?
Elden?

None of these games had enemies placed this poorly and with barely any gaps.

I can't have a reasonable argument with you if you just make things up.

A lot of these games have this, you just needed to pull the enemies from the herd so to speak, if you rush you might get swarmed, Elden Ring had a lot of these areas, just from the top of my head the first giant near the bonfire where you usually talk the first time with the maiden has at least what? 5 enemies, archers and all the crap that comes with it, there you had to pull the giant pass the gate, even that first area had a lot of enemy soldiers and dogs the whole map could get agroed if you were not careful.

I played most of them, they do not. You talking about something that is very different from poor enemy placement. You talking about the flow of the game in general, and all souls game had better flow.

"Normal" souls stuff would be elite enemies spaced sporadically. In this game you turn every 1 or 2 corners and you have the fight the same enemy you just fought 8 seconds ago.

Of course they had better flow, fronsoftware is doing this for ages, but that doesnt change the fact that you had to pull enemies on their games too, without agroing the whole area, in here i use the gun for this, i shoot and they come, than its a one on one fight. In Elden Ring i used the bow, i cheesed a lot with the bow too hehehe, some enemies are so annoying.
