This happens because of the older version of Silk Engine (that this game uses) not being friendly enough with newer GPU architectures, specifically AMD's Navi.

The solution to the problem is to run the game in Vulkan, instead of DX9. You can find the DXVK wrapper here: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases

If Steam decides to eat up the link, google "github dxvk"

Simply drop d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll in to the game's main folder, where OfOrcsAndMen_Steam.exe is located. You want the ones from x32 folder.

This breaks Steam Overlay (not a dxvk issue, but the way steam overlay works), and by extension, achievements. Sucks, but the hud glitches are gone.

And just for the sake of poor souls googling this issue it also happens in Bound by Flame and Mars War Logs.

All the credit goes to SSMChan on GoG forums for figuring this out.

Download tar.gz file and extract it with 7-zip. Then just open the tar-1 file again in 7-zip and you can extract the needed files from there.

Sorry!! now works very well... I skip the part of 32 bit and used the 64 bit archives , because that didn´t work. Just put the 32 and fixes! Thanks !
