The solution to the problem is to run the game in Vulkan, instead of DX9. You can find the DXVK wrapper here: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
If Steam decides to eat up the link, google "github dxvk"
Simply drop d3d9.dll and dxgi.dll in to the game's main folder, where OfOrcsAndMen_Steam.exe is located. You want the ones from x32 folder.
This breaks Steam Overlay (not a dxvk issue, but the way steam overlay works), and by extension, achievements. Sucks, but the hud glitches are gone.
And just for the sake of poor souls googling this issue it also happens in Bound by Flame and Mars War Logs.
All the credit goes to SSMChan on GoG forums for figuring this out.
for the moment the steam interface still working, but hey is no yellow demons jajaja
sorry broken english, i only speak spanish.
Muchas Gracias.
wanted to confirm this works! also appears the current version of the dll's from the dxvx files doesnt break steam overlay
