Alright so guys the only way you can play the game on DX10 is to check the recent update on the computer and uninstall it because i have had computer updates crash on games before

video output is your monitor on ?
Plenty of reports with game crashes at start that were solved by changing
monitor outputs from VGA to HDMI, HDMI to VGA etc.

when i try to run the game it goes full screen then crashes. i dont make it to any menu or anything. i get an error that pops up that says

res = 1,
err = 0x00000057,
the parameter is incorrect.

Well if the crashes in other people's situations are when there's no error

the thing is, it wasn't a stackhash crash for once. So if nothing else, the GPU driver is definitely partially at fault. Unfortunately, my primary machine automatically installed basic drivers, which
threw me back to the old stackhash crash. So, basically, back to square one.

Oh u had the same problem? Yeah i hate that they made the game

crash happen faster. Not that this is bad, now it just means the overlay doesn't let the game hang in limbo for 30 seconds before crashing. I'm going to just try to get support from Microsoft on this
