Performance wise, no problems here. The benchmarks consistently exceed 100FPS and look damn good for a 5 year old game.
However, there are a lot of issues. Feature-wise the PC version still isn't at parity with the console releases, and there are loads of bugs that need fixing.
EDIT: Bringing back the GFWL version in response to the community's call for local co-op and 3D support is NOT an acceptable solution. The mistreatment this platform is subject to versus the console versions is staggering, not to mention thoroughly insulting to your customers. Disgusting.
According to the release notes[pastebin.com], some splitscreen code was "ripped out" of the non-GFWL build. wbacon has posted in the game's NeoGAF thread in an attempt to clarify this[www.neogaf.com], explaining that the code in question was console-specific and not necessarily applicable to splitscreen on PC. He also claims that the PC version has "no concept of multiple controllers".
Following that, both Sectus[www.neogaf.com] and TheBlade[www.neogaf.com], developers involved in the original GFWL version splitscreen patch, posted information disproving this claim.
I believe wbacon deserves credit for working with the community, but it sounds like he's being given false information by the dev team here. If some fans armed with a memory editor can do it, Capcom dev sure as hell can too.
