[Noob question] How to follow AI Sheva after assisting jump?

I'm playing RE5 for the first time, and I'm really tired of standing idly around as Chris after assisting Sheva to jump up an impossible place to reach (like, there are a lot of stuff up there and I just can't get Sheva to take'em!) But now I'm at a place (1-3 maybe) where both have to jump across a gap between buildings, and I can't follow Sheva after boosting her... can only watch her die, lol

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!

Protect her

You can't follow her. All you need to do is protect her while she's doing stuff. And remember that AI Sheva is a worst nightmare in this game, I can't explain how stupid she is

After you help sheva across, run you need to help her kill the enemies, then when she makes it down to the bottom she will run across and break the lock on the door on the bottom floor of where you are so you can rejoin her.
