Costumes Question / Dubt, help please
Hello, in Resident Evil 4 some costumes gave you some powerful ingame bonus, for example, using costume 2, Ashley was invulnerable, i would ask if any of the RE5 costumes give you some ingame advantages or bonus or they've the only purpose to make you cool ? Thanks.

I'm fairly sure they're only decorative in RE5.

Thanks mate.
One of Sheva's costume makes your blood rush away from your head, so your skills decreases.

They do come in play in Mercenaries though. One of Chris's costumes in Reunion makes you invulnerable from any damage that is not coming from the front.

That invulnerability applies only in Mercenaries, not in main campaign ? What a pity :(

It technically comes from his only available weapon, a giant gatling gun, not the costume itself, but the two are practically fused there.
The main game is easy as it is, I don't think it needs any invulnerability on top. Even in RE4 it applied only to Sherry.

Do you play on NG+ or you started the game there? RE5 is mostly set up to have one relatively boring initial play through, after which you can finally play the actual game on more acceptable difficulties. :)

if your playing Veteran 1st time reconsider it or be skilled. I beat veteran with full new items and i had to beat normal at least twice. But professional should be attempted with the secret unlockables and infinate ammo. i recomend S&W 5000, Hydra, infinate rocket launcher, and minigun or long bow

I'm almost chapter four, so i guess i will survive ^^ yes i've a bit of experience on fps and RE serie, but yes, it's really a challenge (and i must be a bit masochist too i guess) ^^

Well, it is still more doable than trying to beat Evil Within on akumu difficulty first…

Dam, that is a game in my list of games to do, now you scared me :(((

Don't worry, it is only that difficulty which is mildly challenging, and only because any damage whatsoever is a one hit kill. But it does not go all the way, companions retain their normal health bar.
