As extra storage (no guns)
its better to play some stages with AI instead of a coop partner like Ndesu fight
You may say Sheva sucks bu the AI behaves the same either with Chris or Sheva.
One thing i learned about the AI is that sometimes when you are dying u are sorrounded by enemies, if you go direclty to heal your partner he or she will get hit imediatelly and even you may die first, so if you're gonna go high dificulties just do yourself a favor and bring a shotgun for knowcking back enemies.
As you may begin to understand the AI has limitations because your are the Protagonist, giving more functionality to the AI could interfere with kills and affect negatively your results...
i normally just give them both melee and bullet vest,a stun rod and use them as pack mules
They're very good with rifles...great shots and they don't use the ammo too quick.
You just have to learn their behavior.
Some AI issues are related to the Steamworks version of the game. The AI is not impressive by any means but it's not that terrible if you know how to handle it and which weapons you should actually give them.
While in COVER Sheva/Chris will fall back to the least powerful weapon and will stick closer to you.
While in ATTACK the AI will act more indipendetly and move around the map, scavaging/collecting more stuff along the way. It will also switch to a more powerful weapon and attack more often.
The one thing you can't usually manage well is how much ammo they consume, but at least they AI has accuraccy.
