licker glitch?

in Chapter 5-2, Licker Hallway. i just walk in and do nothing, lickers always find out and start hunting me!
i remember there is no such problem in windows version...
can someone tell me why?

They'll notice you eventually so I don't think it's a bug

You can sneak around but they'll will always hear when the both of you kick open the metal door. It is designed this way for the stand-off event at the elevator. Tbh it is kinda EZ even on veteran 1st playthrough if you saved up on magnum rounds and grenades.

No no, i mean lickers spot me immediately when i just stand in front of them.
There's no chance to sneak them around.

Chris ran for a fraction of second and that's when you both were detected. Were you playing with the AI or with a human player? The AI allways walk for me as long as I walk.

In this video i played with AI, but yesterday i team up with my friend have same problem.
I really don't know what when wrong.

Then work around it and be proactive. Shoot the glass and run immediately to the iron door that you need to kick down. After that the scenario plays the same anyway. If you are fast enough, being noisy does not mean anything, the lickers are slow to react to you. This is also the strategy speedrunners use.
