I was planning on getting it so i could remove GFWL, to prevent it from taking unnecessary space on my drive
(- GFWL NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR PLAYING
Games for Windows Live is no longer required to launch and play the game)
I heard it also fixes the enemy pathfinding and lets you trade guns with the AI during a mission

It was a massive pain in the ass due to the antivirus insisting one of the files was a trojan, but i finally did it
GFWL is gone for good, enemy pathfinding should no longer have any issues it had in the past, i can trade guns with the AI during missions and GFWL isn't trying to reinstall itself either after the file edits another guide told me to make
I installed Specktra's RE5 True Color ENB+FXAA while at it and it looks amazing, the difference between vanilla and ENB is HUGE, i can't even imagine playing RE5 without it anymore
I also installed the FOV fix but it makes aiming with the Jailbreaker (far better than most players give it credit for, once fully upgraded anyway) way harder so i got rid of it
