Is there anywhere to read how the economy works?
There's a couple of updates that talk about the game economy, and by playing the game I mostly understand the basics, but is there anywhere that actually goes into detail about how the economy works?

If I reduce the player tax rate for a mission, what does that actually -do-, exactly? Where does the kill rate bonus go - directly to a player's pocket, or through the faction funds somehow.

Is a player limited to the faction funds, or is it a separate pot?

Basically... how does it all work, specifically?

I don't have dozens of hours under my belt yet, but when I do play on the bigger 'free form' maps, I wonder how much this stuff matters. Each time its a few planes flying around until the choppers make it to the front line, at which point they destroy everything while remaining extremely hard to kill themselves.

To be clear, I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, just my observations. I really like it so far. It's probably fair to include I have never dodge a single missile (well, i do have a 100% dodge rate maneuver called 'Impact the hillside, but I digress), so that's where my level of knowledge with this game is at.

Not a single mention in this guide of tax rate, kill reward, or money, though? It just explains where units come from - not how much they cost, how those costs are handled, or what adjusting the settings do.

Oh i've read the guide, but thanks for the link. In practice, i've yet to make it work even once. regardless of flight path, pre-flaring, and flare dumping while cutting throttle....every missile shot at me has hit. Not one has missed.

Edit: To be clear, I'm not blaming the game, I'm blaming me

I guess this is self-advertizing, but this guide covers all of the economy settings in the "Factions tab" section.
