game bug (kill Mayor)

if you knock the mayor out of the window the game does not update that he is dead. The game refuses to go forward with the mission in any way still asking you to make a name for yourself and to kill him. If you cancel the task then you go to retrieve it the quest giver gets stuck with a white bubble above his head and an unknown error and can no longer use the individual in this case it is the resistance leader.

Yea for me he ran towards a Destroyed wall and then directly into the Endless void.

Similar thing happens if you capture the mayor as a cop

If you go to the same map as a different character the Resistance Leader has a white bubble above his dead too.
Though in this case had successfully killed the mayor with the previous character and was left wandering around with his hat since the quest in unfinished in the demo.
