- The demo will take place entirely on an island, with the rest of the world map not being accessible due to the surrounding water (and lack of sea-based transportation). The island will feature a couple of cities, with the main objective being to take down the mayor of the larger city (or at least gain their ear).
- The content will be procedurally generated, though it's likely certain aspects will be a bit more "controlled" than a game typically would be, since this is a demo and I want to ensure players have a good experience!
- Several character classes will likely be playable.
- The demo will feature local coop for 2 (and possibly 4) players. Online coop won't be ready in time.
- A small number of skill trees will be available, though in a somewhat more limited (and likely just incomplete) form than at Early Access launch.
- Most major features planned for Early Access launch will be present, with some exceptions, primarily due to those features just not being ready for primetime yet. I'll likely release a roadmap detailing all this at some point.
The demo should hopefully be a lot of fun to mess around in and give you a little taste of what's to come.
Thanks for the info, Madguy! And thank you for being awesome!
