P3R > Metaphor
Why wasn’t P3R nominated for Goty, and why wasn’t its music nominated for best video game song this year? They’re giving all these awards to metaphor, which has lesser graphics, less game mechanics, and far less character and scenic detail. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Game awards are a scam. 90% of votes are from a voting jury that hates gamers and 10% from players.

Metaphor is a new "series" they already know persona/smt will make bank, just look at all the side games for p5. So they are trying to push metaphor more. Though I do agree with you p3r better than metaphor. However their strategic makes since you don't want to make the same old same all the time.
