PLEASE HELP
I have over 100 hours on P3P and I really want to play it the way it's meant to be played, on the PSP, but I don't want to actually restart so is there any possible way I can transfer my steam save to the PSP? I'm half convinced I already found the save data it was like P3PSAVE0001 or P3PSAVE0001binslot or something along those lines and I have the icon and picture already, the only thing I'm missing is a param.sfo file. I've heard different things like putting Magic save on your PSP and loading a corrupted save (that's what the save shows up as) in the game but I couldn't even figure out how to download the magic save on PSP because when I did it didn't even show up and I tried loading the steam save on PPSSPP to get a param.sfo or smth and it's still corrupted so does anyone here have an idea on how I can get a param.sfo for my save or am I stuck with a steam file on steam and starting over (or downloading someone else's save) on PSP?

Edit: My PSP is already fully modded with homebrew and whatever else may be needed btw

If anyone can help me I promise I will give you a Kasumi Yoshizawa Foil Card, that's how much I want this to be possible

You are in the wrong forum. There is no version of this remake on the PSP.

I know I would do the P3P forum but no one really responds to forums as often in there 🤷‍♂️

I had instructions from someone else saved for importing a save from PSP to PC, so doing the reverse might theoretically work. You'll need PPSSPP for this.

First, locate your P3P save on Steam:
Steam\userdata\STEAM_ID\1809700\remote

Go to PPSSPP and disable the save encryption here by changing EncryptSave=True to EncryptSave=False:
PPSSPP\memstick\PSP\SYSTEM\ppsspp.ini

Now create a placeholder save (same gender & difficulty) for P3P in PPSSPP so you have a non-encrypted save file. It should be in this path:
PPSSPP\memstick\PSP\SAVEDATA\ULES01523DATAxx (xx depends on the save slot)

Pull up the Load menu on PPSSPP (do not click yes) and replace the placeholder save with your Steam save (make sure the file name is the same, e.g. P3PSAVE.BIN)

Click yes, and then save over your current save.

You'll need to re-encrypt the PPSSPP save, so revert EncryptSave=True, and save over it again.

If everything worked, you should be able to move the PPSSPP save on to your PSP.

Yeah I could do the same but I’m literally like 98% done with the game completely lol and I wanted to finish it and replay again on the psp

Ok so I did everything up to the point of the starting up your save file and I get this error

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/2477633323970972040/8D8EBB2BE761DC4C7C5119478D52A526B0B71357/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

No clue why, does it have to be in the exact same slot as the placeholder? The save I'm putting in was the 7th slot and I'm putting it in the 1st slot
geesepolice Oct 3, 2024 @ 9:52pm
maybe I put it in the wrong file? I put it in the data00 file but there was also a insta file or smth at some point in time
geesepolice Oct 3, 2024 @ 9:53pm
if it doesn't work though it's not the end of the world I can technically download someone else's save for psp, it just wouldn't be mine
HayateButler Oct 4, 2024 @ 9:19am
Since the Steam release is a newer version and you're not able to load the file, there's probably some changes to the save file which make it incompatible with the PSP version.

Hm maybe
geesepolice Oct 4, 2024 @ 11:46am
One thing I haven’t tried though, there is a second file and it says like save 1 and slot 1 then save 2 slot 2 and so on, maybe I can put it in there?
