Question about maxxing all social links.

I don't try maxing all social links beforehand, since I like it to be a fresh play through however I only missed 3 achievements so far. For my second run, I wanted to know if the achievement needs me to 100% all of them in one go. If I don't need to do that, I can just focus on the 3 or 4 I did not do. I also would like to make sure that social stats carry over correct?

Social Links reset upon starting NG+, so yes, you need to max out all of them in a single playthrough.

Also, yes, social stats carry over. No need to worry about that.

You gotta do them all in 1 go. All stats carry over so you can start some of the links pretty early. even with that however the schedule is really tight, I recommend following a guide.

Needs to be done in one run. NG+ carries social stats over, but this doesn't actually help that much; the vast majority of Persona 3's social links take place during the day with only two taking place during the evening, meaning that you still end up with 90% of your nights free to grind social stats with. You still will only have days to spare if you do everything absolutely perfectly even on NG+.

If I hadn't been so indecisive at the start (and uninformed about certain mechanics), I could have finished all social links in the first playthrough. There is plenty of time to do everything the game has to offer, even if it takes a bit of management beforehand. My most grave mistake was not to prioritize the links at school and socializing with the people you can also meet during your days off (star, moon, hanged, hierophant and sun). At the end, I was only missing two levels with Aigis. Not going to play for a second time and using several hours just for these two small scenes and an achievement. Good game, though. Had a lot of fun.

1. You need to do all social links in one run, even on NG+, so you need to max out Magician up to Aeon later in January
2. Social stats carry over to NG+ except you pick Merciless NG+, Peaceful/Easy/Normal/Hard NG+ will always carry over social stats from previous playthrough regardless of previous playthrough difficulty

the strategy for NG is to prioritize school social links, then only do KEN's Link Episode because you need Michael to be able fuse Metatron (Metatron is one of ingredient needed for Orpheus Telos), also Michael needed if you want to re-fusion DLC persona "Satanael", you can do the rest of Link Episode on NG+ since only social links needed to get the achievement or to unlock Telos, if you confident enough you could do other link episode too on NG but i highly recommend only do Ken's only for NG

for NG+ strategy it's possible to do all social links + link episode, the strategy is same "prioritize school Social Link"
so here's the thing: first you need to rank up Hiero up to rank 4 to unlock Temperance, once Temperance unlocked NEVER touch Hiero, you could also ignore Moon/Star/Hanged except nobody at School available -> once you have access to Fortune do it ASAP and later trigger Priestess ASAP until you have Lovers later, since Empress always available one week before exam i highly recommend ignore Empress and only rank up her ONLY one week before exam

for hanged man, you can ignore her until you reach summer break, because you need her rank 3 to unlock sun, sun is sunday only social link but it can be done later during winter break or during sunday of january, for hermit i recommend done her ASAP so you can use your sunday for text invitation for boost school soclal link before reach Summer break.

so TLDR: only rank up moon/hiero/hanged man/star when nobody at school available, sun is managable during any sunday during or after summer break including winter break or any sunday on january
