Couldn't date Chihiro

I don't have this game on Steam, but can't find anywhere worth asking, so I'll try here. I wanted to date Chihiro in my playthrough, got all the way through the social link, and nothing. I then looked up guides, and the dialogue that is meant to happen to move into her becoming your girlfriend never happened. None of these guides implied anything i said would stop the relationship happening. The only thing i can think of is when she asked me earlier in the link if her "friend" was in love, i said no. Is that really what stopped it?

"Yeah, she's in love" answer acts as a romance flag, while "You're jumping to conclusions" locks you into friends-only mode.

If you chose "You're jumping to conclusions" then you are locked in friendzone. Just use the rewind feature.

The event on October 4th happened during the same play session, and i was less bummed out by that. I now have to settle for someone else.

yeah there are commu that has you pick the friend or lover route early at about rank 6 to 7 or 7 to 8 and many guides doesn't note it. while some of them are obvious, some are just really hard to spot

(Chihiro's option aint hard to spot ngl, when she say "her friend" she clearly meant her lol)

Fu-ka's early choice for lover route could be hard to spot, prob the most unfair one to me personally (rank 7 to 8 if i remember correctly)

Yeah, i know she was talking about her, but i just assumed it was another option, as i never had these kind of friendzone options in P4 or 5.
