6800XT here. The only crashes I've had were from messing with mods. Blaming us or the port for your bad PC is just lol.
You're mentioning everyone else has super pc's, but what is yours then? Maybe stating your specs could help pinpoint a problem here instead of just saying, "Trash port!" and accusing everyone else of having 4090's...
+1 to a save anywhere feature. I don't happen to get crashes, but dungeon crawls up Tartarus can be long without the opportunity to save. I want to be able to save and exit when I need to, not being constrained by the game doesn't allow me to save at that time.
To opponents of a save anywhere feature, the response is if you don't like save anywhere you don't have to save anywhere. Decide for yourself your criteria for when you will save. But please don't deny others the save anywhere feature. (No disrespect intended to opponents of save anywhere, just stating the contrary view.)
Great recent games like Baldur's Gate 3 allow save anywhere.
My fellow gamers, can we please shut it about BG3? I've had my share of "But Baldur's Gate 3 did this!" on Elden Ring discussion board, please refrain from spreading this disease here as well.
Not every RPG has to be compared to BG3. Thank you for understanding.
