Do you enjoy building early game personas?
I was curious if there were any players that liked to build up early game personas they were fans of or if players are just interested in building the more powerful endgame personas?

I am a fan of Jack Frost and Pyro Jack (Jack O Lantern) so I like to try and build them up with end game skills and pump up their stats.

Jack Frost
Diamond Dust
Concentrate
Spell Master
Single-Target Boost
Drain Fire
Ice Boost
Ice Amp
Freeze Boost

Pyro Jack
Inferno
Concentrate
Heat Riser
Spell Master
Drain Ice
Single-Target Boost
Fire Boost
Fire Amp

I know it is not optimal in the slightest to do this, but does anyone else find it fun to do? Are there any early personas you like to keep for the long haul?

I finally decided these 2 as my Wind and Thunder endgame Personas

Those two are looking pretty good. I do find it interesting you decided on using Power as the wind choice. That is persona I wouldn't have thought to use for wind magic.

I want to use Fortuna as my wind persona at first but my healer already has fortune arcana so I search for another alternative :Furrowed:

I always thought Fortuna was pretty cool, think I built that one on Persona 5 Strikers but it has been way too long for me to remember :cqlol:.

I present to you the Elemental AOE only Trumpeter, for fun and tribute to Nocturne's Trumpeter and the endgame Thunderbird, true terror of the sky.
I do wonder, how do players typically grow the stats of the personas? Do you guys just use arcade more or incenses more?

The arcade can help build St, Ma and Ag. Using stat cards also helps but it can be a real grind to buy all the ones you need to max stats, which is why my Thunderbird doesn't have all max stats. Killing the reaper does help to quickly gain levels which can also boost stats until you hit max level and there were a couple arcana cards you could choose during shuffle time that also could help a small amount. Finally doing the link episodes with Ryoji gives a slight boost to all stats to which ever persona you have equipped.

As in the case of the max Jack Frost I built, I neglected everything and used only arcade all day everyday until St, Ma, and Ag maxed and dumped every stat card I had saved into him. (Of course this was on a new game +.) Then when farming gems to trade for stat cards I also got some cash to buy gems from the nightclub to trade for stat cards as well. It is a grind, but my boy Jack Frost was worth it. :cqlol:
I have some myself. Here's my Clotho build :

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3176127157
Clotho is the youngest of Moirai (Fates) sisters in Greek mythology, and she decides who is to live. She is also a daughter of Nyx.

The skills are :

Morning Star
Multi Target Boost
Almighty Boost
Almighty Amp
Null Phys
Resist Fire
Spell Master
Life Aid

She can hit pretty hard :

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3176127866
That's with Auto Tarukaja + Concentrate + Marakunda, against enemies around 230-240th floor. With just Tarukaja, she'd hit around 1600-1800, which is still enough to wipe out most of the enemies in the last part of Tartarus. She pretty much took care of the last boss alone.

I have Lachesis and Atropos, also, as light and dark builds, but I didn't use them much toward the end. Clotho accompanied my end game in P4G and P5R as well.

Here's my Fortuna (since you guys mentioned) :

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3176128585
She is my support persona, to turn things around in combat, lol. Skills are :

Dekunda
Dakaja
Debilitate
Heat Riser
Mediarahan
Amrita Shower
Resist Elec
Spell Master

I'm in NG+ now, and am working on a Lamia poison build (Virus Breath + Almighty Boost/Amp).

Hm...

With a fusion guide that I was thinking to write, I should probably address that. Arcades are pretty bad later because there's stat inheritance in this game like in the previous versions of P3. Although it only takes into account stats from incenses. The grind for stat incenses can be worth it if it's done right.

Clotho and Fortuna are looking pretty cool there, and I am really interested in finding out how good your Lamia poison build turns out. I hope to see an update on that one once it is finished.

An efficient way to boost stats would be great to know for maxing stats of multiple personas. I originally only intended to do it for Jack Frost so the grind wasn't as bad and I didn't put too much though into it. But, when I wanted to start building more personas I kind of got burned out and I think that shows on my Thunderbird who had what I thought a pretty solid skill set but the stats weren't all maxed.

Thanks! As for the Lamia build, I think it's going to be a while, since I'm still in the end of May. I didn't play around with poison effect much yet, and want to see how that goes. Considering how fast most fights can end in P3R, it may turn out to be not so useful if poison won't work on bosses,

Looking at other personas, I think Oni and Anubis are both interesting to use as bases for builds, since they have no weaknesses. I think P4G had more personas with no weaknesses, but in P3R it seems we only have those 2.
It's a DLC Persona, but Level 23. I've been chipping away at a "Super Arsene" throughout my first run meant for use in the Elizabeth fight alongside the other Phantom Thief initial personas. I've maxed out his stats, but don't have all his skills yet. His eventual set will be:

-Eigaon
-Dark Boost/Amp/Driver
-Resist Light

And then trying to decide what to do with the other three slots. He currently has Maeigaon, Multi-Target Boost and Survival Trick occupying those slots for adventuring purposes, but obviously will not need those (except maybe Survival Trick) against her. Any suggestions? Also face a similar problem with the others.

If your persona is going to be focused on doing dark damage and you want to switch Maeigaon for Eigaon, I would personally switch Multi-Target Boost for Single-Target Boost. I would also consider Spell Master for SP saving reasons. I don't have the DLC personas so I am not sure what weaknesses and resistances they have.

They're mostly the same as in the original, with some changes: Arsene is no longer weak to Ice, Johanna is weak to Elec and resists Strike, and Milady is weak to Fire while resisting Pierce.

Besides Sati I've already mentioned, these are my babies that have come a long way since then. They're not level 99/all stats 99 just yet, but you get the gist:

Queen Medb (Wind)[imgur.com]
Dominion (Pierce/Light)[imgur.com]
Succubus (Dark/Drain)[imgur.com]

Don't mind "Growth" passives, just trying to lessen the grind a little bit. Obviously they will be replaced with something else later on - most likely, "Spell Master" for Queen Medb and "Resist Phys" for Dominion and Succubus.

Also a honorable mention. She's an end-game Persona, but I just love her too much. Probably my top tier SMT/Persona demon:

Scathach (Heat Riser/Debilitate/Auto Ma- passives)[imgur.com]
