Do you enjoy building early game personas?
I was curious if there were any players that liked to build up early game personas they were fans of or if players are just interested in building the more powerful endgame personas?

I am a fan of Jack Frost and Pyro Jack (Jack O Lantern) so I like to try and build them up with end game skills and pump up their stats.

Jack Frost
Diamond Dust
Concentrate
Spell Master
Single-Target Boost
Drain Fire
Ice Boost
Ice Amp
Freeze Boost

Pyro Jack
Inferno
Concentrate
Heat Riser
Spell Master
Drain Ice
Single-Target Boost
Fire Boost
Fire Amp

I know it is not optimal in the slightest to do this, but does anyone else find it fun to do? Are there any early personas you like to keep for the long haul?

i am waiting to endgame, since i want to get almighty amp, magic ability, and magic mastery, you can ignore magic ability if you are planning to get lucifer's blade.

for physical can be done since beginning of the game because the combination only: amp, boost, single / multitarget boost, and apt pupil. You can add critical boost and critical amp

since my focus fight will be liz and not nyx, i mean i could bring anyone against nyx, so i am preparing persona squad against liz that has innate resist, the more resist persona i have is better

Personally, on this time through I played through almost the whole thing with Ara Mitama (just chose that one out of the very low level ones for having two resistances and only one weakness), and collected skill cards to use on it along the way. The end game setup was: Maragidyne / Mabufudyne / Maziodyne / Magarudyne / Salvation / Resist Wind / Marakunda / Invigorate 3. And then I tended to like a party of me + Akihiko + Ken + Koromaru to cover light/dark abilities and strike/pierce attacks.

I never would have thought to use a Mitama as I normally skip over those but that it is pretty cool.

Actually, scratch that. I'm keeping Getsu-ei.

I don't know the exact numbers on "More damage when closer to a Full Moon", but I've noticed in my fight against Hanged Man that this thing with Slash Boost outperforms Brave Blade with Slash Amp (on Siegried, who had nearly identical STR).

Downright busted, this move is.

Brave blade has the highest crit rate than any others skill

Holy crap, that Pixie is similar to what I thought about doing with my Pixie :cqlol:/ I already passed on Morning Star and Almighty Amp and Boost. For support I am thinking about using Oni and thunder toss up between Thunderbird (always thought was cool) or Thor (cause Nocturne but Thor might too high level for this). Time to get back to the grind :cqlol:.

For thunder element I probably gonna do Oberon, and for wind and fire I still can’t decide which personas I should rebuild :satisfied:

It has been a long time coming and I am starting to feel a bit burnt out but here he is. This is my Endgame Jack Frost The Ultimate Hee-Ho!

Are ailment boost necessary? it's kinda useless for me since freeze ailment has low chances even with ailment and freeze boost same like shock ailment, If I were you I will put resist Phys to make it more tanky or Mabufudyne for All target attack, but hey it's just a suggestion in the end it's up to you how you want to build your persona :satisfied::gearthumbsup:

I liked the thought of him turning enemies into popsicles :cqlol:, but the Phys resist is a good idea, I just did not have it to give at the time.

As for Mabufudyne, when I decide to comeback and do crazy things again, I was thinking of Trumpeter. I was tossing around the idea of having him have all of the high level AOE skills and multi-target boost on hand just in case the situation arrived where it would be beneficial to use an AOE skill.

You can Craft resist phys skillcard in antique shop, and yea it's a good idea to build a Persona focus on AoE skills but it's also kinda unecessary since it's wasting persona slot and you need to put all the AoE skills on Persona that has resist to all elemental damage like Messiah,Alilat or Telos so whenever enemies has repel attribute to certain element it doesn't backfire to you :satisfied:

That is good to know about being able to craft the resist phys skillcard, will have to check it out.

I know it is not the smartest or most optimal way to go about it, but I really want an AOE Trumpeter, just because I like Trumpeter and I blame Nocturne for it :cqlol:.

Hmmmmm I made an Oberon with the best elec setup possible. But that wasn't due to favorites or anything, he simply had the best resistances for elec builds against Elizabeth.

Funnily in the original, a lot of this can happen too. Forneus is way better to build on than Decarabia for Best Friends there, as an example. So for practical purposes, it has merits in some cases.
