What about all the time I spent grinding him up? The money I spent on him, skills, etc etc.
He's just.. gone and so is all of that work? What a stupid move. It wasn't even that compelling. Feels like a total waste. When 5 does it at least there's a point to it.

Did you completely miss numerous hints and statements that he's already a dead man walking, thanks to consuming suppressants?

Besides that, the point is that he was ready to die anyway. If anything, to atone for killing Ken's mother. And he did just that, by saving Ken from a bullet to his head.
