Do you really have to log in to the nexon web site before running Maplestory?

depending on where you have maplestory downloaded:
Start -> Computer -> C: -> Nexon -> MapleStory -> GameLauncher
or
Start -> Computer -> C: -> Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> SteamApps -> Common -> MapleStory -> GameLauncher

Three ways to run Maplestory:

1. Gamelauncher like above said.
2. Nexon Website - log in and press play
3. Steam - but as of now, it still has problems.
