"There is no Disk in the drive" :( Please help

"There is no Disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive E:" cant play on steam or through ther nexon website. So far only game that does this. So i start it up by clicking play then it asks me to log in so i do so and then this no disk error appears i have to exit it 3 times to get it to go away. I have also disabled the "generic" drives in the system managment does not work :( please someone help i really want to play this game again :/ im alos running on windows 8 and my computer is more then capable to run this game.

This happens to me whenever I have an external drive (usb drives, or my phone) attached to my pc. I believe MapleStory checks for disk drives (which is weird). But if you choose "Cancel" or "Ignore" the game will launch.
