Wrong email issue
I was trying to sign up a few nights ago and I was so tired I didn't enter part of my email till after everything was done. So I entered the wrong email.

I don't have access to that email and as far as Yahoo goes it's actually a shut down one so I can't message the person to help out.

I messaged nexon a few days ago but no help. Is there anyway to change the email from steam or somehow unlink it so that way I can resign up and actually play???

There are a few ways to fix this problem, depending on if I interpreted it correctly. As far as a response from Nexon goes, that may take from one day to a few weeks, so just be patient with their response crew. Shoot this discussion with another comment if you haven't found your solution yet (aka looking online). Also go more into detail about your problem, because I don't quite understand the problem.

I managed to get their live US support chat up and they switched my email so I can now play it. Thank you though. :)

So it's possible to switch emails? I'm having the same problem too, I used the wrong email on the steam account and now I can't play...

On the Steam version, it is not possible to change emails.

Yes it is. You have to go to Nexon's main site and make an account with them with the email that you WANT them to switch it to.

Talk to their live support and explain the issue. Your issue is the same thing I had and they US tech support lady I had said it happens more often then most people think.

Don't open a ticket for an email, just talk to the live support when you go the the Maplestory support page.

Dang, I realized I have a slightly different situation then you :/

I'm trying to switch to an already existing account, because I didn't know the email i used to log in the first time on steam was a different account.

so wait.... either

1) you had a steam account and signed up for maple story and would like that maple story to switch to a new steam account that you are useing at the moment

or

2) using this steam account that you are on at the moment, you don't remember for origional email you used to sign up and play maple story on THIS steam account and would like to switch emails

or

3) you signed up for maple story on Nexon.com (their main maple story site area) and just want to connect it to your steam.


Is one of those right????

So when you say that the email you put was a diff. account, is that account yours... or someone elses????

If its yours, just explain to live chat that you need to switch it so the account you want is the one that your steam connects to. THey should switch it as long as you can give them the correct info to prove that you are the owner of said accounts.

if not then idk how that would work. :/
