Damage Over Time Class
Hey guys, I have not played in nearly a decade so I was needing some direction in choosing a class. Is there a damage over time specialist class, one that has a focus on damage over time?

If not is there one focused around high mobility that has some strong DoT attacks?

I think that Aran is a class that increases in damage for every time the player attacks a monster. After that, every class increases in damage for every level gained, so I'm not quite sure what you're looking for.

Nearly every class has very good mobility. And with the right player/equipment, every character has good damage.

Damage over time is normally in the form of poison or bleeding damage where you hit something once and they take small increments of damage over a short period of time

Ah. In that case, it would probably be the explorer thief class, night walker, ice/lightning, or fire/poison. However, each of these characters must be high level.

Dang, so no real focus on it, thank you for all the information
Why would you want to do LESS damage rather than more?

Well, take into consideration a healing-type class. Usually healers don't rely on their attacks or damage, but rather focus on healing their allies to keep them alive to stop the enemies from attacking the healers.

The appeal to a damage over time class is generally instead off 100 damage up front you may do 120 damage over 5 seconds, allowing you to jump in attack and jump out without risking a prolonged engagement where you are in danger
