Explorer questline Bugged

I back after many years to the game, create a character and I want to do the explorer questline but, when I must do "The Suspicious Hay Guy", I talk with athena, she teleports me to the site and the game says "I think there's a problem. Let's try again the quest" and I can only repeat that over and over.

I must do something else I don't see?

Same here. Made a Cannoneer and stuck on that quest. Also tried switching channels and closing/reopening Maple and it is still happening.

What characters did you all make?

i tried an archer and my gf an mage... so for me it doesnt matter which class u chose

Hey Y'all I tried it again and it seems to work now at least for the Cannoneer I made this morning. Hopefully it works for you all also!
