Unlinking an email connected to a steam account.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with changing an email that is linked to your steam account. Currently, an old roommate's email is linked to my maplestory, so I can't play maplestory on steam because of this...

I won't sugarcoat it for you, so I'll tell you what I told everyone who said that. i'm sorry, as someone in the game staff/nexon won't leave a message that says you cannot change the email linked to an account becuase it is a security measure to prevent theft. That email should be an Email that is not useless/easy to forget as all of your security and Passowrd change Emails go to that one Email. You could try and submit a ticket to get messaged your information, but it's not easy and hardly is it answered as they securitize that as well. Best I can offer you is to make a new email and account, or try and get into contact with that old buddy and see if they use that Email any more. Something I doubt as 'Old' old emails are usually shut down. I don't say this to be mean, and at least an answer is better than silence.

If you wish to blame anyone, then blame the lack of a warning during the making of an account. It's something at least I would not have missed.
