Is this game playable with a controller?
I know it doesn't have controller support but there's ways to make controllers work for non-supported games anyway.

The reason I ask is because I'm looking for a game I can play relaxed with a controller more casual than most MMOs I see out there, I want it to be an MMO because I love to be a random benefactor in MMO communities and just join dungeons and random parties as a healer or support type.

I like to game while watching videos and my pc's hooked to my TV so I can use my recliner and so I wanna find a good MMO that I can play with controller, I figured this might work since it seems to be 2D but I'd still like to know what players think

I played the game using the original controls for a solid 6 years. The instant I used a controller I couldnt ever go back. It feels very natural, just takes a little bit of setting up.

all right I'm willing to do the setup which I expected to take some time, would be nice if they added the support natively though. Thanks for the quick answer, see you sometime soon in game!

It is natively supported, but you have to manually adjust what button does what, and its the whole "button 1" "button 2" format instead of A & B format. Not too much of a headache if you know what you're doing.

oh that's not that troublesome, I've played several games where there was NO support whatsoever meaning I had to rebind each button, including thumbstick directions, to letters and bind those letters to the controls, and then figure out what letter was what button during the tutorial XD honestly button 1-2-3-etc is simple, just mash each button till you know the scheme of it and then bind with what seems natural and fix what you messed up, I'll check in the guides there could be one there

If you open up "game controllers" (might be underneath 'setup USB game controllers' if on windows OS) find your controller and hit properties, itll show you what button number is what on the controller. Makes life a lot easier.
