WinLicense an exception occurred
I've come back to playing maple after a couple of years and have been enjoying the game fro about two weeks now. However, yesterday after finishing my dailies I got kicked from the game and now every time I try to log in I get a message saying "An exception occurred (Address: 0xa4c185) Please contact yoursite@yoursite.com. Thank You!"
After hitting ok on the message to proceed so the game opens it takes a really long time to get to the servers window and my character selection after which when I log in to any of my characters it gets kicked and says it was unable to connect to the servers. This has been going on for about 2 days now.

Anyone else having this issue or has any solutions?
I tried looking it up but came up with no results or really old threads with no solutions at all.

I finally figured it out. In windows security and in device security, there is a feature called core virtualization. You want to go into it's details and turn off memory integrity and restart your computer. Unfortunately, this feature causes this winlicense issue and this is the only way to stop it at least from what i've tested. Hopefully this solves your guys issues as well!

It is a Steam problem, some corrupted file was caused when the game was closed incorrectly.

I guess uninstalling Steam and reinstalling it will work.

but my solution was to format the computer
