Well, I only got to the 2nd job advancement, but I can't manage to convince myself to play beyond that.
I usually decide whether a character is worth it based on their 1st/2nd job mobbing skills. 3rd/4th mobbing skills are usually a variation on those, so if those first two don't feel satisfying, I drop it there.
Kain doesn't even feel satisfying with his first job skills.
They're kinda like a combo class, they don't have a real "main dps skill" but rather a rotation, your first job skill only works to fill up your resource gauge while you use a bunch of other skills to kill stuff.
If you don't feel like it then don't play it, but keep in mind not all classes have all their main skills by lv30 lol
I guess kain doesn't give me the same satisfaction as hoyoung
Update: I watched another video of 3rd, 4th, and 5th job kain a moment ago, and it still doesn't look satisfying enough imo.
Though, that's just how things are. Don't try to force yourself to like a class. Some classes just don't click for some people and that's perfectly okay.
