HELP! How do i move my maplestory characters from Steam to Nexon?

I've been searching ways to migrate my maplestory characters from Steam to Nexon launcher. I found one article which instructs me to copy the files of maplestory from steam and paste it in nexon but that doesnt help at all. Any suggestions?

Your characters are saved on the Nexon servers. They are not on your computer. If you log into MapleStory from the Nexon MS launcher with the same account as you use in Steam, then your characters will still be there.
