How to boost my Kanna's defense?!
So.
I got my kanna to lvl 203, and even if I'm strong enough to kill high level mobs I die ALL THE TIME because I feel like this class doesn't have enough real defense buffs.
I basically have no knockback resistance and when I find myself hit by several monsters at once I either have to mash the potion button or die, even if I put barriers everywhere.
Any tips?
I love this class but I really wish it was a bit more tanky. I'm still on low level quests because all the Arcane river stuff is too much of a struggle atm.

If you're 200+ you're probably grinding at Arcane River, Mobs there work based on your Arcane force.

You'll notice how those maps have a required Arcane force to deal efficient damage, based on how much you're from that point their damage will change, for example:
If you're below, they'll hit harder, if you're on point, regular damage.

However, if you exceed the minimum you'll get perks, such as dealing More damage to them and reducing the damage they deal to you, the bonuses cap once you are above 50% the minimum required (If a place asks for 100 Arcane, you'll need 150) and at Max bonus they deal no damage to you (you'll take 1 damage) and you'll deal 50% More damage.

Keep in mind, there are some flying Mobs around, those are anti potion Mobs, they deal 10% of your Max hp, always and prevent you from using potions.

As for knockback resistance, level up a mihile, their link skill grants 100% stance for a couple minutes

I actually didn't know about the Arcane force. I only have 55 but it should still be easier to grind on maps that require 30 than it was when I first went there. Thanks for the tip, I was wondering what new class to try on the next burning event coming up.
Cheers!

The issue with quitting is that there isnt a game like it to replace it. It doesnt scratch the same itch as the 3d mmo clones that every other mmo is, so even though its mostly dead its still hard not to come back to it.

I've seen people complaining about this game being dead for years, yet most channels on my server are at least halfway full when I log on so I just don't understand. By dead you mean the game evolved and isn't a copy of what it was 15 years ago?

Actually I don't understand the urge that people who stopped playing have to tell others to stop playing. Like okay thanks for your input? lol
