Gearing Up

So im lv189 now and have found out a few things. Since no one does empress these days, no one will really go with me to do it and get better gear. Currently im using a mix of the lv100 frozen gear from the current burning event, pensilar, wings of fate, 7 boss set items (ht/cht pendant, letter eye accessory, power crystal, pink grail, clover belt, magnus shoulder), ghost ship badge

I cant really figure out where to go from here. Unless i get a hellux/hmag/cra carry i dont see any way i can get better gear. What should i do?

Yea, i figured as much. Isnt Lucid, Daemen and that one book guy all leutenates of the Black Mage? Makes sense theyre so endgame

200 wont be hard. Im hate grinding o it may take some time but iv been lv200 on a few characters before. I just worried once im there ill get stuck is all, cus thats how its always gone. The most challenging thing iv ever done in ms is lead successful runs against chaos pb (unless emp is harder, cus iv done that too a long time ago), but this was years ago. Iv gotta pass this rut so i know what the real challenges are like!

Well, the tiers for bosses are these (These work by hp, not mechanics included):
1. Zakum
2. Hilla/Von leon (normal, easy)/Easy magnus
3. Root abyss (normal)/normal papulatus
4. Easy horntail/Ranmaru (normal)
5. Normal horntail
6. Pink bean/Easy arkarium
7. Chaos horntail/Easy empress/Madman ranmaru
8. Normal Arkarium/Normal magnus/Normal papulatus
9. Normal empress
10. Chaos pink bean
11. Root abyss (chaos)/Hard magnus
12. Vellum(chaos)/Damien(Normal)/Lotus(normal)
13. Chaos papulatus
14.Lucid(normal)/Hard Damien/Hard lotus
15. Will
16. Hard lucid/Hard will (probably will a bit higher since he has more complex mechanics)

That puts me at Tier 7 then, except i cant really do easy empress viably because i get mob rushed. Iv also never actually attempted Akarium but im pretty sure theres no point to him anymore

Easy empress has 10b hp, don't think it's THAT easy, some of these tier jumps are actually quite tough, Arkarium is largely ignored because there's not much to get from him other than meso and maybe dominator pendant, he also drops the rare primal essense, which is really needed in this meta.

So is easy akarium worth it for me then? Since i probably cant do normal. And yea.. iv tried easy cygnas and normal pap. I dont think iv got the damage to do either, but im probably not terribly far off to technically beat them in time. I can put a good dent in their hp, id probably just run out of time. Cant kill normal Julieta either :/

Julieta is not mentioned...because i haven't tried to kill her, it's also a non kms boss, so, it doesn't has much point to it other than rewards points/Meso/flames, Easy arkarium doesn't drops dominator pendants, only mechanator (which is slightly stronger than chaos ht) i also forgot to add Hard hilla, which is in the same tier as normal arkarium (mechanics wise, probably a bit higher)

Easy arkarium doesn't drops Primal essense, but not totally sure about this.

Is Kannas ring really the best? I just got it and its base stats seem totally unnoteworthy. Besides the 25 stars, but ill never get it to even 17

At 17* it's far better than a lot of rings, and sadly, that's kanna's ring selling point, same goes to meister ring, another BiS ring with similar base stats

So point is, ill probably have Kannas ring for a vry long time huh. Its worth investi g into? My best ring is Synergy, the others are 100% trash. And im working on getting a superior gollux (86 coins, didnt do hard carry yet today)

Yes, kanna ring is one of the few rings with 25*, however it cannot be replaced, so most people just take it to 17*, superior gollux, reinforced gollux and meister rings are the other best rings, synergy ring is no longer BiS, it's still decent (Only if you have 5 chars that have it equiped) but you'll just ditch it in the long run.
