Now, to your question if paladins are good post 200, the answer is, yes, however, they're a more support focused warrior and they're the most effective in a duo rather than a solo fighter, their first 5th job skill (Whose name i cannot remember) links you to one party member, which in return makes it so that your linked ally can also use your skills, effectively doubling your damage output (I.E: Let's say you use holy charge, whenever you would cast it your partner will cast it at the same time)
In addition to damage, the skill also transfer your 140 hyper (sacrosanctity) effectively giving godmode to you and your partner, which is super useful (I believe the healing from 3rd job can also be shared)
Your second 5th job skill is a ring of hammers that surround you permanently, if you activate the skill, the attack speed, damage and number of hits per hammer increases, making it a pretty nice burst skill that also helps with dps up to some point.
Your 3rd skill is a golden cross that deals rapid fire damage, after holding the key for a while the attacking speed of the cross increases severely.
Tl;dr: Yes, they're good supports, specificaly made to duo with someone.
