BURNING A NEW CHARACTER BUG. HELP

So I created a character, and I burnt him, but I wanted to change it so I deleted him and made a new one. But now, whenever I make a new character and choose it to get burnt, it always says "request failed". What do I do to fix this issue?

You dont, you had the one burning choice, you chose, then deleted the char. You used to be able to burn then change your mind (deleting a char), but after the last one where it bugged and people got 3-4 burns from one, they changed it.

But it said that the only way to change which character to burn is to delete the current burning character. So is that message misleading or false?

Its old and was never changed, its possible they will fix it to work the old way again, but I wouldnt hold your breath.
