Maplestory doesn't launch

Hello, I have tried countless times to launch Maplestory on my Windows 10 HP Notebook. I have tried game launcher, nexon launcher, and steam. None of which have worked. I did everything the support person told me to do but none of that worked either. My last resort, and their last suggestion, was to fully reset my laptop. I'm unsure if I should do that and I hope that someone else has a suggestion as to how to fix this problem.

did the samefor me, i just downloaded off the website instead of steam, work fine

I've tried downloading and playing through nexon launcher before though :/

might be something in your registry, go to start menu and click run “Run”. And then type “regedit” in the dialog box. Click “Yes” to access Registry Editor. You need to go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ and then search and locate the Maplestory registry entries and extensions and delete those. However, if you do ot know what your doing you coul seriously damage your computer. So i'd recommend backing up your files beforehand.

Or, you can run your computer on safemode and try and uninstall maplestory that way, usually that helps

hm I went to check there and I can't find one for maplestory :0

same. i tried to open from launcher inside the maple directory but then it wanted email and password which i never used since i created my character. then i tried to sign in to site to check my email and password the website gave an error "a server error occured (code: 1599). please try again later.". and i thought it could be my password because i dont remember it correctly. i tried to reset my password but there is no email in my inbox and then i tried to create a new profile with the same email but when i push "create account" button or something like that nothing happens! no refreshes no errors or message or something. now im sitting here and waiting for this thing to be resolved. for gods sake! i can take the crashes or bugs but this... its so frustrating.

I´ve been trying to get in for 2 hrs and im getting "error please close the application and try again" as well.. do we need to re-download the game??
