What a beautiful day to visit Byteland, isn’t it? To make your return smoother, we’ve implemented a few fixes and adjustments in our digital realm.

Join us now and check out what Patch 1.11 brings to your adventure!

Byteland Fixes:

Adjusted enemy AI to prevent random idling.
Improved precision and responsiveness of Pinball Cannons.
The hovercraft speed buff now applies properly.
Boti no longer dies in the cutscene after defeating the boss on level 5.
Fixed a memory leak related to the speed buff.
Fixed missing materials on the Hologram Island.

General Fixes:

The controller button prompts for rotating character preview in the skin selection screen now display properly.
Fixed a crash when returning to the HUB after the Glitcher fight.
Cameras will no longer randomly trigger for the second player.
The pause menu no longer gets stuck on the player’s screen in certain rare situations.
Fixed a soft lock after the Halloween lottery spin.
Addressed multiple issues with split-screen connections.
Adjusted FOV settings to prevent the highest options from breaking the UI.
Level 2 cutscene will now always trigger properly.

That is bananas. This is a little co-op colorful platforming game. Did the developers just not optimise it at all? In what world should a game like this be more resource intensive than Vermintide, or DRG, or Serious Sam??

Achievements bug

Many achievements don't work and can't be obtained in any way, for example when I killed a glitcher I didn't get an achievement for it etc. When I passed level 4 I got achievements for passing all 8 levels and getting 3 stars in them. Additionally, many bot coins levitate in my place and cannot be collected, which is also not good. I hope they fix it quickly....

achievement bugged

i completed the first level, unlocked more than five chests and beaten more than 10 guard bots and didn't get any of the achievements.

Worst game performance ever

Someone has to say this here. This game has the worst performance I ever seen in my life. Worst than Star Wars Jedi Survivor, The last of Us: Part 1, Starfield.... Here on my steam deck: 18~20 fps on low with fsr. On my PC an Ryzen 7900x, 64GB 6000mhz DDR5, Radeon RX 7900XT and 1400p. Can´t handle 60fps even with overclock with my card pushing everything to it max. Some times pushing more than 70% of my cpu (24 thread, hi?) and very instable GPU usage. Devs need to know. It's complete not acceptable. C...

Patch 1.10 includes numerous improvements and fixes to the digital realm of Byteland.
Discover what’s new and what has been refined to perfection.

General Fixes:

Sliders in options should now respond to more buttons on the gamepad.
Cursor now appears when playing with a gamepad.
Resolved various health bar issues.
Fixed progress bar on the summary screen.

Byteland Fixes:

Improved return functionality from the Halloween map to the hub.
Resolved crashes occurring during the fight with Glitcher on level 5.
Addressed multiplayer Glitcher fight issues on level 5.
Enhanced functionality of magnetic objects that were previously untargetable.

Achievement Fixes:

Achievements now properly progress.
Achievements will be marked as complete immediately after meeting all conditions.

This game is weirdly offputting. Conceptually, everything seems like it should be decent, but I played around with every combination of graphic options and the game just has this unpleasant blur to it, and also the music is horribly monotonous.
