I wish for a different Hellboy game

Every time I see this game, I want to play a Hellboy game that is more focused on the story. Something similar to Telltale's Wolf Among Us. I don't know how to explain it very well, but I believe it would be an incredible game.

Disagree. I definitely prefer this over something like a Telltale game.

No, I want to play as Hellboy and punch monsters. That's what he does.

Yeah it does seem to sort of miss a lot of what makes Mignola's books so excellent. More Arkham Asylum/Resident Evil than this, though I may still give it a shot... one day.

I won't judge so quickly, there's no reviews available yet. Im optimistic about this one, at least im certain it will be the best game the character got so far, which is easily achievable, considering the previous ones were all garbage

I've always dreamed with a BPRD game with similar mechanics to the lasts resident evil games... Imagine a good story where you play Abe or Liz... Doesn't have to be the same as the comics, some kind of dark lovecraftian case. Would be amazing.

I have to agree that would be amazing indeed, maybe based on Plague of Frogs, which imo is one of my favorite storylines of BPRD. Now they only need the budget and a dev team able to deliver.

Yes, plague of frogs would fit perfectly.
Sadly, I don't think the Mignola universe moves that much money. It's not marvel or DC, so hoping for a huge budged project would be really really optimistic.

I just wish it wasn't based off of God of War 2018 since it does a lot of things wrong when it comes to action games.

I do not agree with this simply because Hellboy isn't really something a game like Telltale can really make unless backed up by Mignola himself - who's the one who developed the story for this game. I enjoy the tidbits of lore and story we get from these games - especially with a smaller company who gets Hellboy's design and world to a T.
